
Valerie Deloney, MBA, works in content development and communications for scientific organizations. She has been the project manager for over 30 guidance documents and guidelines and is an author of numerous peer reviewed research papers. For seven years, she worked for the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) as the Director of Communications. She received her MBA from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business in Washington, DC.
She started Youngtree Communications in 2011 to help organizations identify and implement resourceful and creative communications solutions. She has continued working with SHEA as a long-term consultant. In 2020, she also joined Trivedi Consults, LLC as a team member. Valerie has overseen the development of guidance documents, research manuscripts, consensus statements, tool kits, infographics and other at-a-glance communications tools, needs assessments, and educational modules and training.
